            Upon completing my ICT classes, I have witnessed a significant enhancement in my digital literacy and technological proficiency. The comprehensive curriculum provided me with valuable skills, including the creation of personalized Gmail signatures, mastery of computer shortcuts, blog creation, participation in the Tromp engineering course, and the ability to craft engaging slides for effective communication.

            Exploring Excel files during the course has notably improved my data management skills, while delving into Microsoft Word has enabled me to proficiently create various types of documents. I am now equipped with a well-rounded skill set that extends across different applications and aspects of information and communication technology. We can read word and use different feature of word latest version. We can read power point and use different feature of power point latest version.

I am deeply grateful to facilitators Niroj Dahal Sir and Siddartha Rajak Sir for their unwavering encouragement and support throughout the duration of the course. ICT tools, techniques, and methods and your impression on learning from remote.

            As a first-semester student at KU, my engagement in remote learning through E-classes on Google Meet and the utilization of Gmail modules has been transformative. The diverse ICT tools, techniques, and methods employed have not only facilitated my academic journey but also enhanced my proficiency in virtual communication and document management.

            Participating in online classes has exposed me to a myriad of digital tools, broadening my technological skill set. The integration of Gmail modules, in particular, has revolutionized communication and collaboration with both instructors and peers. The seamless coordination of emails, shared documents, and real-time discussions has significantly contributed to the effectiveness of our virtual learning environment.

            Overall, the remote learning experience with ICT tools has not only bridged the physical gap between the classroom and my home but has also equipped me with invaluable skills crucial for success in the digital era. The adaptability and versatility gained through this mode of education are undoubtedly assets that will continue to benefit me in various aspects of my academic and professional journey.


3 ICT tools and their usage in mathematics teaching and learning

            Geo-Gebra: This dynamic geometry software is a powerhouse for visualizing and exploring mathematical concepts in geometry, algebra, and calculus. Students can create interactive figures, manipulate them in real-time, and observe the resulting changes in equations and data. Imagine rotating a 3D shape and seeing its surface area update instantly, or dragging a slider to watch a parabola morph into a hyperbola. Geo-Gebra makes abstract concepts concrete and fosters deeper understanding through experimentation and discovery.

            Desmos: This free online graphing calculator takes graphing to a whole new level. Students can visualize functions, inequalities, and parametric equations in stunning detail, with animation and customization options galore. It's not just about plotting points; Desmos lets you explore intercepts, roots, slopes, areas, and even derivatives interactively. 2)      Accessibility: Remote learning provides access to a wide range of courses and resources, breaking down geographical barriers. This is especially beneficial for students who live in rural areas or who have difficulty attending traditional classes due to disabilities.

3)      Cost Savings: Remote learning can be more cost-effective than traditional classroom learning, as it eliminates the need for commuting, accommodation, and traditional classroom materials.

4)      Personalized Learning: Many online platforms offer adaptive learning technologies, allowing students to learn at their own pace and focus on areas where they need improvement. This can be helpful for students who learn at different speeds or who have different learning styles.

Disadvantages:

1)      Continuous Professional Development: Recognizing the dynamic nature of technology, I commit to staying updated on the latest ICT tools and techniques. This involves engaging in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and exploring new resources to ensure that my teaching remains relevant and effective.

2)      Collaborative Learning Environments: Inspired by the collaborative potential of platforms like Google Meet and Gmail modules, I aim to create more opportunities for interactive and collaborative learning in my mathematics classes. Encouraging students to work together virtually and fostering a sense of community will be a priority.

3)      Incorporating Feedback: I understand the importance of feedback in the learning process.
